Sound experience and a holistic approach
Employment law brings together many of the things I feel most passionate about in my work. Typically, it involves cases with critical importance to the people and businesses concerned. Legal issues concerning employment are complex, and constantly evolve with regulatory changes and legal precedent. Cases often carry crucial financial consequences, and involve practical and administrative aspects, process management, communication and much more.
I advise on all aspects of employment law, particularly from the perspective of employers where my clients tend to be small and mid-sized businesses.
Managing or executive directors and senior employees are another key client segment. For many years, I have advised both businesses and executive or managing directors, including on employment contracts, terminations and severance agreements.
I take on regular engagements as a lawyer, but am also happy to work on a project basis, in which case I act as more of a legal consultant.
